University of Minnesota has plenty of antisemitism in its department for "gender studies"

The following revelations about the university of Minnesota can surely also give an idea what LGBT ideologues think, if that's one of the subjects at the department, and it won't be shocking if it is:
Just a glance at the website for the University of Minnesota Department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies reveals it to be a highly politicized unit of the wider university, dedicated to progressive activism. The site declares that “As a place where research, education, and social change go hand in hand, GWSS identifies, analyzes, and challenges structural inequalities, while imagining and creating just and transformative futures for all.” Instead of searching for truth and knowledge, the Department openly acknowledges that its vision includes “social change,” “challeng[ing] structural inequalities,” and “creating just and transformative futures for all.”

So it should come as no surprise, that like much of the progressive left, the Department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (DGWSS) is a vile font of Jew hatred on the University of Minnesota campus.

Just six days after the brutal and barbaric Hamas attack on Israel, in which innocent civilians were brutalized and raped, parents killed in front of children, children killed in front of parents, bodies gleefully mutilated by terrorists on camera, DGWSS released a “Faculty Statement on Palestine” in which they described the massacre as “Hamas fighters” (not terrorists) who “brought down border fences.”
The statement went on to demonize Israel and its defensive response to the worst attack in its history as “not self-defense but the continuation of a genocidal war against Gaza and against Palestinian freedom, self-determination, and life.” The statement declared “We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and with Palestinian scholars and organizers.” DGWSS might as well have said, “We stand with Hamas.”

The statement goes on to make clear that the Department stands for Palestine, and only Palestine. “We strongly reject the media coverage that condemns ‘both sides,’ or seeks to tell a one-sided story of an unprovoked terrorist attack,” it states. “Israeli leaders are wielding a violent power that subjugates the Palestinian people and constructs them as dehumanized terrorists, upon whom any bloodshed can be meted out.”

Ironically, the Department even claims that its glorification of Hamas “fighters,” who raped and brutalized innocent Israeli women en mass, is a stance for feminism. “As scholars and solidarity workers who seek justice everywhere, we respond to the call of Palestinian feminists and Palestinian freedom fighters for transnational solidarity and assert that Palestine is a feminist issue,” claims the statement. “None of us will be free unless the Palestinian people are free and Palestinian land is liberated.”

Unsurprisingly, the statement goes on to “reaffirm support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement,” a genocidal attempt to isolate and destroy the world’s only Jewish state.
Atrocities like these only give feminism a bad name; that's who these divisions seem to be run by. Above all, it proves any stand they supposedly have in favor of women's rights is throughly false. No sensible person should invest in such awful institutions.

Update: Jason Garshfield describes something else about Stanford that's equally shocking:
On March 9, 2023, the Stanford Law School chapter of the Federalist Society invited Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals judge Kyle Duncan to give a talk on campus. Duncan’s conservative and pro-life views aroused the ire of a mob of student demonstrators, who showed up to disrupt the event with signs bearing messages including, “Judge Duncan Can’t Find the Clit.” Protesters repeatedly shouted down Duncan as he tried to give his speech; one yelled at him, “We hope your daughters get raped!”

Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Tirien Steinbach soon arrived on the scene. Instead of attempting to restore order, Steinbach gave a long, hectoring lecture to Duncan, suggesting that his speech “literally denies the humanity of people,” and asking, “Is the juice worth the squeeze?”

This was not a group of undergraduates at some third-rate college protesting an inflammatory conservative partisan like Milo Yiannopoulos (although, to be sure, even provocateurs have free speech rights). This was an assemblage of law students, most well into their mid-twenties or older, at one of the top law schools in the nation, speaking to a well-regarded member of the federal judiciary. The students who shouted down Judge Kyle Duncan are our future legal luminaries, our next generation of judges and law professors.

Now in light of the recent spate of anti-Israel protests on campus, a great many of the left-wing voices who did not raise a finger to stand up for Kyle Duncan, or 100 others like him, have suddenly decided the juice is worth the squeeze. They are now willing to accept the principle that the emotional discomfort caused to Jewish students by anti-Israel and, in more than a few cases, openly pro-Hamas and antisemitic protests on campus is an acceptable sacrifice for the benefits of a vigorous public discussion on a current geopolitical matter.
Now that is repulsive. And if any of the protestors could wish sexual violence upon somebody not even on the scene, what are the chances they could end up committing such abominations themselves? These are definitely not somebody you should hire even as a defense attorney. Garshfield is correct - we should see to it these institutes are closed down, because of all the criminal violence they're practically encouraging. Who knows what they even think of 911 Families?

Prime minister's statement for this year's Holocaust Memorial Day

Here's what Benjamin Netanyahu had to say for this year's Holocaust Memorial Day gathering:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday addressed the opening ceremony of Holocaust Remembrance Day.

During the address, the Prime Minister turned to the world in English: "Eighty years ago, in the Holocaust, the Jewish people were totally defenseless against those who sought our destruction. No nation came to our aid.

"Today, we again confront enemies bent on our destruction."

Netanyahu continued: "I say to the leaders of the world, no amount of pressure, no decision by any international forum, will stop Israel from defending itself."

He concluded by pledging: "As the Prime Minister of Israel – the one and only Jewish state – I pledge here today from Jerusalem on this Holocaust Remembrance Day: If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone. But we know we are not alone because countless decent people around the world support our just cause. And I say to you, we will defeat our genocidal enemies. Never again is now!"
It's a vital statement to make at a time like this, when once again, Israel faces a terrible war begun by jihadists.

13 years ago, there were leftist journalists who didn't support ridding the world of bin Laden

An important reminder in history subjects, of how some on the left reacted when Osama bin Laden was killed by USA troops in a raid on his hideout:
Thirteen years ago, nearly all Americans were united in celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden, the terrorist leader behind the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Yet one group stood on the sidelines and scowled: the Sourpuss Left, which fretted the “mindless jubilation” and “jingoistic hubris” of those cheering the elimination of the evil al Qaeda leader, an avowed enemy who had ordered the deaths of thousands of innocent people.

“It felt a little crazy, a bit much. Almost vulgar,” one Washington Post columnist huffed about the late night crowds celebrating outside the White House gates on May 1, 2011. “I think that this kind of jumping up and down, chanting ‘USA, USA,’ send a message of almost, sort of, blood lust,” another commentator mourned on PBS that week.

There was also the morally-inverted griping that Big Bad America was worse than al Qaeda. “This was not justice,” fumed journalist Allan Nairn on Democracy Now. “This was one killer killing another — a big killer, the United States government, killing another, someone who’s actually a smaller one, bin Laden.”

Mainstream liberal journalists avoided such hateful nonsense, instead touting the “heroics” of President Barack Obama, as if he had actually participated in the dangerous military operation. “Professor Obama turned into General Obama and ran this incredible, incredible raid,” gushed Bloomberg’s Margaret Carlson. “That took a lot of guts, the kind of thing you do see in a Hollywood movie.”

To his credit, however, Obama didn’t listen to his then-Vice President. “Mr. President, my suggestion is: Don’t go. We have to do two more things to see if he’s there,” Joe Biden counseled his boss, as he himself related in a speech to House Democrats the following year. (Video here.)

Thirteen years later, Biden’s “don’t go” advice seems as terrible as ever (especially now that he’s handed Afghanistan back to the abhorrent Taliban), while the anti-American Left has moved on to condemning Israel’s necessary fight against similarly implacable and deadly terrorist enemy.
No doubt, the above left-wing journalists cited still retain some of the worst influence today, one more reason why the continuing war against Islamic terror is being horribly undermined in every way imaginable. That they'd make any kind of a fuss in the first place over ridding the world of a tyrant is reason to shun them for doing society such a horrible disfavor.

Anti-Israel protestors got training from leftist groups for months

Some new reports tell how what's been seen at university grounds lately was coordinated:
Anti-Israel protesters at many of America’s universities have been consulting with and sometimes trained by left-wing groups and activists, some of which have ties to support of terrorism, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

Protesters at universities across the country have consulted with groups like National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP) and Samidoun: Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, in some cases resulting in months of training, planning and encouragement, according to the WSJ. Administrators and police have battled pro-Palestinian protesters in recent days at schools like Columbia and the University of California, Los Angeles, in some cases calling in officers with riot gear using tear gas and flashbangs.

Students at Columbia attended a “teach-in” run by former members of the Black Panthers prior to protesting, who educated them about handling internal disputes in political movements and discussed the parallels between gentrification in Harlem and the conflict between Israel and Palestine, according to the WSJ.

“We took notes from our elders, engaged in dialogue with them and analyzed how the university responded to previous protests,” said Sueda Polat, graduate student and organizer in the pro-Palestinian encampment at Columbia, told the WSJ.

The NSJP, which has over 300 chapters across the country, has been involved in the organization of many pro-Palestinian demonstrations on college campuses as of late, according to the WSJ. The group has utilized social media to give advice to protesters, like covering their faces and how to deal with police and protests, as well as calling for universities to divest from Israel.
To make matters worse, weapons were found at one of the encampments (Hat tip: Geller Report):
Anti-Israel protesters who occupied an academic building at Columbia University had signs that read “death to America” and “death to Israel,” a New York City Police Department (NYPD) official said on Friday.

“Pencils, books, laptops — those are the tools of students and what you expect to find on a college campus,” NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry wrote on X/Twitter. However, when the NYPD entered Hamilton Hall — which encampment protesters took over — to remove the occupiers, it found “gas masks, ear plugs, helmets, goggles, tape, hammers, knives, ropes, and a book on TERRORISM [sic].”
And that's not stuff you would typically expect the average student to be carrying. If university managements really care, they'll follow Ron deSantis' example and deactivate all chapters on campus supporting these evil movements. So far, tragically, few seem likely to do so.

Update: it's now been revealed that the protests were funded by some of Biden's donors. It gets that disturbing by the minute.

Muslim candidates sadly make considerable gains in the UK

Over in Britain, dhimmitude seems to have resulted in quite a few victories for Muslim candidates, many who're pro-Hamas:
British Green Party candidate Mothin Ali, who won the Gipton and Harehills seat with 3,070 votes, said his election to the council was a “win for the people of Gaza”.

After the results had been announced, he shouted “Allahu Akbar!” while his supporters unfurled a Palestinian flag behind him.

His victory speech included a pledge that “We will not be silenced. We will raise the voice of Gaza. We will raise the voice of Palestine. Allahu Akbar!”
Well of course followers of the Religion of Peace won't be "silenced", but infidels will, sadly enough. That's what fiends like these infiltrate the system for.
Numerous other candidates running on a Gaza platform defeated their rivals, including Walsall candidate Naheed Zohra Gultasibhas. “This is for Gaza, this is for Palestine,” Gultasib said in her victory speech.

Akhmed Yakoob of West Midlands secured approximately 20% of votes in his riding with a pro-Palestinian platform.

The support for Gaza came at a severe cost for the British Labor Party, which lost over 10% of its support in some areas.
The reason for that is because the Labour party wouldn't outright call for Israel declaring a ceasefire, enabling the Green Party to take advantage, and even the Tories lost big:
Another blow to the Conservative party in Great Britain: in the local elections held in several cities around the country, the governing party suffered extensive losses.

These results may indicate what is to happen in the run-up to the general elections that will be held next year and it is possible that the Conservative party will lose the helm after being in power for 15 years.

Leading the victories registered by the Labour Party, the second largest party in the country, is that of the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan who was elected for a third consecutive and historic term.

According to the latest polls, opposition leader Keir Starmer is expected to return his party to power in the next general elections and, according to some polls, even break a record number of seats, with a gap of over 20 percent between his party and the conservative party.

Meanwhile, Labour has managed to bounce back from the heavy losses it suffered in the 2019 elections, when the party was led by the antisemitic Jeremy Corbyn.

Hartlepool and Rushmoor are two cities where the Labor Party has never ruled.

At the same time, Labor's victories have been bittersweet, as in some places the party lost some representatives due to the fact that it refused to support calls for Israel to reach a permanent ceasefire.

Labour lost the highest number of seats in cities and towns with a large Muslim population.
Those cities include Leeds, to name but one example of what doom looms for the blighty.

Terrible news like this is also one of the reasons the Jewish-British writer Lee Kerns decided to move to Israel:
Jewish-British writer and comedian Lee Kern, who is planning on emigrating to Israel, took to social media to express his displeasure with the direction his country has taken in light of the results of the local elections in which many left-wing and Muslim candidates saw great success.

"I’m leaving Britain and moving to Israel. Even if it wasn’t for the antisemitism I’d be leaving. Britain is a dying society. I’ll be fine in Israel. It’s the most dynamic, creative, and positive place I’ve ever been - even though surrounded by Islamic fundamentalist psychopaths who daily try to destroy it," Kern wrote in a post on X.

Turning to his home country, he writes: "You can forget the power of positivity and optimism. It’s become taboo in England. That’s one thing I’ll never understand or make peace with. Britain is a shit hole - but if you try to express positivity, pride, and optimism in the idea of salvaging something good about ourselves and improving things - you’ll be shamed and beaten down by smug, elitist morons who have a stranglehold over our culture - a culture that they have made desperately dull and oppressive. Britain is a place that hates individuals who stick their heads above the parapet, hates self-belief, hates pride, and it hates success."

According to Kern, "Our enemies have contributed to this grim culture of floundering confusion and self-loathing. Useful idiots do the donkey work. And our leadership seems to lack entirely any connection with the grandeur or grand ideas that drive not just a society forward - but a civilization."
While it's great he wants to move here, that doesn't mean the Religion of Peace should be allowed to flourish in and become the dominant mindset in any country. Consider: if allowed, the day will come when Iran's not the only sharia-led regime with nuclear arsenals that could destroy civilizations. That's why I hope those with common sense, no matter where they live, will be willing to fight in World War Three/Four/Five, or whatever one wants to call the impending tragedy the smart inhabitant of the globe will have to battle if that's what it takes to retain freedom.

Trump supports police removing pro-Hamas demonstrators from campuses

Catherine Salgado notes that Donald Trump has addressed the disturbing issue of pro-Hamas demonstrators clogging up campuses, and Trump impressively sides with law enforcement on the subject:
Donald Trump emphasized the fact that it is the political left, not the right, responsible for the new Nazism that is driving antisemitic riots on college campi.

Students and off-campus agitators have joined in rioting and pro-jihadi encampments that led to hundreds of arrests by law enforcement. In comments to the press quoted by Breitbart, which he made before entering the Manhattan courthouse, Trump expressed his support for police arresting pro-Hamas protesters.

“These are radical left lunatics,”
he emphasized. In separate comments made last month, Trump previously addressed the argument, one supported by years of rejected offers, that the Palestinians will not accept peace with Israel and a “two-state solution.”

Trump told reporters, “I’m so proud of New York’s finest. They’re great, great people, too. I know so many of them. They’re incredible. They did a job at Columbia. And likewise, in Los Angeles, they did a really good job at UCLA.”

He continued by noting that the Biden administration and its federal law enforcement has been targeting alleged right-wing extremism while left-wing extremists scream terrorist slogans in the streets.

“This is a movement from the left, not from the right. The right is not the problem despite what law enforcement likes to say,”
Trump stated. “The FBI director said that he worries about the right. Don’t worry about the right; the right is fine. Worry about the left because this is a movement from the left.”
Congress has opened an investigation into the matter of universities that tolerate antisemitism:
The Republican House of Representatives is tasking no fewer than six committees to investigate antisemitism on college campuses, with federal research grants and other funding at stake.

The administrators who are under fire from all sides for the protests that have roiled college campuses in recent weeks have brought this down on themselves. They tolerated antisemitic behavior for years, passing it off as a free speech issue
. Meanwhile, Jewish students were intimidated and threatened. The schools did nothing, even after Jewish students went to them asking for help.

“We will not allow antisemitism to thrive on campus, and we will hold these universities accountable for their failure to protect Jewish students on campus,”
said House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) at a news conference.

Johnson visited Columbia University this week and echoed the complaints of many Jewish students there, saying “the anti-Jewish hatred was appalling.”

Since this is an election year, the GOP's sights are set on uniting their own fractured party and dividing the Democrats by bringing the issue of campus antisemitism into the political debate. The plan is to saturate the airwaves with pictures of Palestinians supporting Hamas terrorists and the Democrats defending their "right" to spout hate speech.
Former Harvard president Larry Summers says he's dismayed at all the antisemitism that's flooded campuses, and lawsuits being filed are correct. Of course, when it comes to violent incidents, students should decidedly turn first and foremost to police sources, and not rely immediately upon college staff, as recent incidents make clear. There's moments where one has no choice but to go for the really serious paths in order to deal with serious issues.

Biden insults Japan and India

Fraud-in-chief Joe Biden attacked countries like Japan and India for not letting in virtually every foreigner no matter their background, in another example of how Biden's not concerned with all the Islamic infiltration that's destroying much of the world:
Joe Biden has claimed Asian allies Japan and India’s “xenophobic” policies towards immigrants were causing their economies to stall.

“One of the reasons why our economy’s growing is because of you and many others. Why? Because we welcome immigrants,” Mr Biden said at a Washington fundraising event for his 2024 re-election campaign.

"Why is China stalling so badly economically, why is Japan having trouble, why is Russia, why is India, because they’re xenophobic. They don’t want immigrants. Immigrants are what makes us strong," he said, kickstarting the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month on Wednesday.
This sure isn't likely to mend failing relations with Japan and India, and it's shameful and disgusting how he lumps them in with communist-led countries like Russia and China. The part about allegedly failing economies is also questionable, and as explained here:
Our GDP growth is 1.9%. Japan is at 1.0%. India’s is 7.2%. China’s is 3.0%.

I wouldn’t brag about being ahead of Japan considering that we’re neck and neck with Burkina Faso and South Africa and lagging much of the world.

Opening up your borders to every invader who wants to cash in on your welfare state is not a plan for economic growth. As the mayors of NYC, Denver, and Chicago have been explaining to Open Borders Joe.

India is a net exporter of immigrants to this country so arguing that it needs immigrants is a confusing thesis. All of the above countries do have declining birth rates and that is bad news, but the solution to that is raising birth rates, not bringing in millions of illegal aliens to loot your cities, as Biden has done.
One could also point out that better education is in sore need everywhere, and that too is something many PC advocates don't seem to have what it takes to raise in discussions.

Biden's statements about Japan and India are offensive and degrading, completely inconsiderate of the need for security, and let's hope their publics will be disappointed with the Democrats for all of this.

Update: both Japan and India responded in dismay to what Biden said.

NYC's chief DA unlikely to prosecute pro-Hamas university trespassers

Matt Margolis informs everybody of what won't shock anybody who knows Alvin Bragg cares more about petty accusations against Donald Trump than about serious crimes:
On Wednesday, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg refused to say whether he will prosecute the pro-Palestinian rioters who broke into and took over Hamilton Hall at Columbia University.

Bragg is currently prosecuting Donald Trump for an alleged campaign finance violation that is normally tried as a misdemeanor offense and would normally result in a fine as a felony. In addition to elevating the misdemeanor offense to a felony, the statute of limitations on the alleged crime had passed. On top of that, nondisclosure agreements are not illegal.

Despite Bragg's overzealousness to go after Trump, he was unresponsive to inquiries from the Daily Caller regarding potential charges for pro-Palestinian rioters arrested on Tuesday. The New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested 119 rioters at Columbia University on Tuesday evening, as well as 173 at a City University of New York (CUNY) protest, where students also took over an administrative building.
There's only so many articles like these where the people the news site tries speaking to refuse to offer any comment, if at all. In any case, it won't be a surprise if it's all swept under the rug, and the perpetrators are never prosecuted at all, nor required to post any bail to be released from custody.

Besides the above news, here's another very sad part of this whole scandal over at UCLA, where similar horrors have occurred: This isn't shocking either, but does compound the sad path on which the USA is headed, with Islam becoming more common anywhere and everywhere. Particularly chilling has got to be when Republican-led states allow the Religion of Peace to gain serious footholds, like in Ohio, as mentioned earlier.

In another related issue, Lee Smith addressed fraud-in-chief Joe Biden's efforts to prevent Israel from getting rid of Hamas and rescuing hostages:
Reports are circulating that the Israelis are planning an operation in Rafah to eliminate the last Hamas stronghold in Gaza. If so, the Netanyahu government will be acting against the very public wishes of the Biden administration, which has spent the last half year moving heaven and earth to save a terrorist organization from destruction. Bizarrely, the White House’s statements and actions show that Hamas’ survival is more important than the security of a traditional American partner, Israel; more crucial to American interests than the preservation of the U.S.-led order of the Middle East; more precious than the dozens of American lives that Hamas ended on Oct. 7; more valuable than however many Americans and Israelis are still alive in the terror army’s tunnels.

Why? As the money and prestige that the U.S. has invested month after month in protecting Hamas demonstrate, the Biden administration sees the terror group as a valuable asset.

A day after the massacre, before Israel’s campaign against Hamas even began, Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote that he was encouraging the Turkish government’s “advocacy for a cease-fire.” It makes no difference that the tweet has since been deleted, since the White House has produced no shortage of evidence since that its top priority is to deter Israel from defeating Hamas, by increasing Israel’s vulnerabilities at every turn, and conditioning aid on Israel adopting a purely defensive posture.

The Biden administration has stopped Israel from entering Rafah by demanding it produce plans to protect the civilian population, piously insisting that “even one civilian death is too many.” That would be a hard task in any military scenario, but given that Hamas hides among noncombatants, the White House’s policy openly reinforces the terror group’s political and military strategy.

The president abdicated America’s historical role of vetoing anti-Israel activity at the U.N. Instead, the U.S. delegation abstained from a key Security Council resolution in March demanding an immediate cease-fire—thereby putting America’s diplomatic weight behind Hamas’ demand that it should be allowed to keep its hostages and continue ruling Gaza. The White House then sanctioned Israeli civilians on the West Bank for crimes dreamed up by left-wing pro-Palestinian organizations, while ignoring a Palestinian terror wave aimed at murdering Jewish civilians who were guilty of crimes like stopping at a red light, buying gas, and herding sheep. Much of the false reporting supporting the pro-Hamas offensive is channeled through U.S. Army Gen. Michael Fenzel. The U.S. Security Coordinator for Israel and the Palestinian Authority are spending taxpayer resources to build a Palestinian terror army on the West Bank that may soon be repurposed for Gaza, too.

By compelling Jerusalem to “surge” food aid and energy to Gaza, the White House broke Israel’s siege, and demanded an ally resupply its adversary at wartime. Whenever Israel goes on the offensive, Biden and aides publicly threaten to stop resupplying arms. After Iran’s massive missile and drone attack last month, administration officials let on that if Israeli retaliatory strikes exceeded meager U.S. limits, the White House would hobble Israel’s air defense systems. Thus, the Israelis were forced to adopt the battle-tested American military strategy of bombing sand.
Joel Pollak also talks about this disturbing interference, which cannot be allowed to continue. What makes Biden and company's attempts to interfere with rescue operations is that a strong majority of USA citizens feel Israel should finish the job in Rafah (Hat tip: Jihad Watch), where many of the hostages are thought to be held:
A strong majority of American voters believe that Israel should move forward with a military operation in the southern Gaza city of Rafah to finish the war against Hamas, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll published on Monday [April 29].

Survey respondents responded to a prompt asking, “Should Israel move forward with an operation in Rafah to finish the war with Hamas, doing its best to avoid civilian casualties even though there will be casualties, or should it back off now and allow Hamas to continue running Gaza?”

While willingness to support an Israeli operation in Rafah correlated with age (older respondents viewing such an operation more favorably than younger respondents,) even among the youngest respondents, those aged 18-24, 57% said Israel should move forward with a Rafah operation.

In contrast, 84% of respondents aged 65 and above said the same.

Additionally, respondents who reported that they followed Israel closely were far more likely than not to support a Rafah operation. Among these survey respondents, 77% said that Israel should move forward with an operation in Rafah.
Biden and company - along with the demonic army of pro-Hamas protestors at universities - are going to have to recognize that even the wider USA public wants the job in Rafah to be completed, and chances are even in Europe, there's plenty who do too.

Update: in France, the pro-Hamas demonstrators occupying universities were cleared away by police in possibly less time than it took in the USA.

Update 2: it's also been noted that many of the left-wing trespassers at the colleges weren't even studying there.

Israeli police on Temple Mount continue petty persecutions of Jews praying there

This is something that's been going on at least 2 decades already, and here's the latest example:
Two girls, from the village of Otniel in the Hebron hills, came on Wednesday morning to pray on the Temple Mount. They were detained for questioning after one of them hung an Israeli flag over her shoulders while walking.

A police officer demanded that she remove the flag and upon leaving the Mount detained her at the local police station. The two girls were taken to the police station in handcuffs and then given a hearing before being evicted from the site
.

Tom Nisani, one of Israel's most prominent Temple Mount activists and CEO of BeYadeinu, commented, "The Israeli government needs to decide whether the Temple Mount is in our hands or in the hands of the Waqf. The Temple Mount is not ex-territory. It is a national symbol to which millions of Jews have prayed to return to for thousands of years."

Nisani added: "There is no legal or moral reason to arrest Jews who walk with the Israeli flag on the Temple Mount. On Independence Day we will all raise flags on the Temple Mount."
What it indicates is that the police officials themselves are politically motivated, and that's something that has to be addressed too. Above all, this behavior and persecuation has to cease, because it's practically what led to October 7, 2023.

Was the wife of a known terrorist on Columbia campus?

The staff at Columbia University decided they had enough of all the disgusting terror supporters turning up and occupying their buildings, so police were finally brought in to clear them away. But what's really disturbing is the news that the wife of a known terrorist showed up at the campus: Well this is chilling, and makes clear the Biden "administration" isn't making much effort to prevent dangerous people from entering the USA. And for all we know, it likely won't be investigated, nor any arrest made of the specific figure, if at all.

An important point is made about all these agitators:
From the person throwing themselves down the steps to the women shrieking (at least, I hope they are women) as if they are being abused, all of this is manufactured. These are actors playing a role. They chose to illegally storm and occupy a building, breaking windows to gain entry. No one should feel an ounce of sympathy for them as they pretend to be brutalized by police. Let the tears fall.
If there's any transsexuals among the mob, it won't be surprising, though it's understandably mystifying to some why LGBT practitioners keep throwing their support behind entities that're opposed to LGBT ideology. I suppose what it really means is that a lot of such ideologues are only really taking up their lifestyles solely to undermine sane and civil societies, 5th column style or otherwise. And indeed, that's doubtless a very accurate observation, one that many have surely guessed long ago in any event. I saw a video on X where a police officer in Georgia had to carry away another thug who was also pretending to be hurt, and these obnoxious creeps sure are a major disappointment to society. They don't even deserve jobs, if this is all they care about. All must be done to keep them away from colleges, though with the way things are going now at institutes like Harvard, that's why universities are becoming pretty outdated already.

Update: a writer at the UK Telegraph makes an important point that if mollycoddled criminals like those stuffing the universities are the west's future, then we're clearly all doomed.

Update 2: TV actor Brett Gelman says the "protests" are like the 1930s all over again, and he's correct.

Update 3: it's also vital to note that these vulgar acts have also affected institutions in Europe.

Update 4: Northwestern University caved to demands of the pro-Hamas crowd, and made clear anybody with common sense should not waste a penny on their institutions.

Indian women victimized by Islam is a tragedy that needs to be known about

A campaign's been launched to draw attention to the plight of Indian women who fell victim to Islamic sexual violence in India (Hat tip: Pamela Geller):
The tragic murder of Neha Hiremath, the daughter of Congress councillor Niranjan Hiremath from Hubli, Karnataka, has transcended international borders, reaching the bustling heart of New York's Times Square. This outcry is led by the Indian diaspora in the United States, who have rallied under banners reading "Justice for Neha," "Stop Love Jihad," and "Save Hindu Girl," bringing significant attention to the case.

Neha Hiremath, a 23-year-old first-year MCA student, was brutally murdered on April 18 at BVB College Campus in Karnataka's Hubli. Reports indicate that Fayaz Khondunaik, a former student of the same college, attacked Neha, stabbing her multiple times including in her neck and stomach. Both the attacker and the victim were subsequently rushed to a local hospital, where Neha was pronounced dead. The motive behind the murder, as claimed by Neha's father, is rooted in what he alleges to be a case of 'love jihad' – a term used by some to describe relationships used to coerce Hindu women into converting to Islam.

The incident has not only sparked widespread grief but also led to global protests, including a notable rally in New Jersey. Echoing the sentiments at Times Square, the demonstrators in New Jersey also aimed to raise awareness and demand action against forced conversions, rape, and violence targeting Hindu women. The display in Times Square particularly stood out, featuring Neha's image alongside the message "Save Hindu daughter" amplifying the campaign for justice.
This is pure abomination that anybody would take an innocent woman's life over petty issues, and the subject must be spoken about as widely as possible. Condolences to the victim's family. It's vital that people know about the horrible subject of Islamofascists targeting defenseless women.

Update: Ashlyn Davis has more on this chilling subject.

New documentary about survivors of Hamas sexual violence, and a discovery was made of Soros funding at campuses

A new documentary's been produced detailing the horrifying experiences of women who survived the Hamas' bloodbath and acts of sexual violence on October 7, 2023:
Several Israeli survivors of the Oct. 7 attacks, including former hostages, first responders, and witnesses, are detailing their horrifying experiences at the hands of Hamas in a new documentary.

“Your body is simply open to everyone,”
Agam Goldstein-Almog, one of the Israeli hostages who was released in November after being held captive by Hamas for about seven weeks, said in a new documentary.

Goldstein-Almog, who was 17 years old on Oct. 7, 2023, when thousands of Hamas militants stormed into Israel and carried out a massacre leaving roughly 1,200 people dead, estimated that roughly half of the approximately 250 people taken hostage have been sexually and physically abused.

The documentary, released a couple of days ago, is titled Screams Before Silence and is available on YouTube. The hourlong film, a project from former Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg, includes testimonials from former hostages who were released during the weeklong ceasefire in November, first responders, and witnesses who survived the attack.
Read more, but be advised that there are descriptions that're graphic. Yet that's exactly why this horrifying news must be known.

There's also been an eye-opening report produced about funding by George Soros companies for the pro-Hamas movement at college campuses (via Newsbusters):
George Soros and his hard-left acolytes are paying agitators who are fueling the explosion of radical anti-Israel protests at colleges across the country.

The protests, which began when students took over Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus lawn last week, have mushroomed nationwide.

Copycat tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia — all of them organized by branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) — and at some, students have clashed with police.

The SJP parent organization has been funded by a network of nonprofits ultimately funded by, among others, Soros, the billionaire left-wing investor.

At three colleges, the protests are being encouraged by paid radicals who are “fellows” of a Soros-funded group called the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR).

USCPR provides up to $7,800 for its community-based fellows and between $2,880 and $3,660 for its campus-based “fellows” in return for spending eight hours a week organizing “campaigns led by Palestinian organizations.”

They are trained to “rise up, to revolution.”

The radical group received at least $300,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations since 2017 and also took in $355,000 from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund since 2019.
This hasn't been shocking in 10 million years, but it's still very devastating. And how to stop the funding of radicals by Soros foundations in the USA is anybody's guess.

Humza Yousaf resigns as Scotland's first minister

Some thankful news coming from Scotland, as the first Muslim to serve as premier at the north end of the UK is resigning, following controversial leftist policies that only caused a lot of justified outrage:
Humza Yousaf, Scotland’s first minister, resigned on Monday after just 13 months in office following a series of muddled progressive policies that culminated in him torpedoing his own governing coalition.

Yousaf, who became the first Muslim leader of a Western democracy, stepped down on Monday after his decision to rip up an agreement between his Scottish National Party and the Green Party, known as the Bute House Agreement, cost him a working majority.

[...] In the aftermath of Yousaf’s decision, a vote of no confidence was called for this week. And although he gave no indications he would resign last Friday, he changed his mind over the weekend.

[...] He became leader of the SNP and first minister in March 2023 after longtime party leader Nicola Sturgeon stepped down. Her resignation came during a police investigation into alleged misuse of campaign funds. Her husband, former SNP treasurer Peter Murrell, was charged with embezzlement earlier this month, while Sturgeon herself was questioned and released without charge last year. Both deny any wrongdoing.

Yousaf’s short-lived tenure will be remembered, however, for controversial legislation that would make it easier for people to change their gender, which was at odds with the Conservative-led Westminster government.

His party also introduced a hate crime law that made transgender identity a protected characteristic. The law generated criticism from the likes of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who lives in Edinburgh, and even X owner Elon Musk.

In the end, Yousaf’s tenure was made untenable after he scrapped the Bute deal with the Greens over climate change policy disagreements.

Douglas Ross, the leader of the Scottish Conservatives who tabled the motion of no confidence, told STV that Yousaf was “forced … out of office for repeatedly failing Scotland.”
Not mentioned, and likely because these papers have regrettably succumbed to PC, is that Yousaf's policies would doubtless be employed in the future to enforce Islamic sharia, and not just LGBT ideology. Admittedly, it's interesting that an Islamist would approve of something like that, but surely because most Muslims couldn't give a damn if transsexuality ends up hurting "kuffar", so long as Muslims aren't affected.

Yousaf's departure from the role of First Minister in Scotland is most fortunate, and now, we must hope better yet, that the conservative party in Scotland will be able to win an election, if one is to be held soon.
